COE New Hires

Welcome to Penn State's College of Engineering!

Training & Support Services

We have training sessions available to all Engineering faculty and staff members. To learn more about what the Engineering Training Lab can provide please visit our training home page. From our training page, you can access training and support resources such as online software quizzes, tutorial demonstrations and simulations, schedule of upcoming training sessions, User Groups and Operator Committee meeting schedules and documentation, and much more.

We strongly recommend to all new employees of the College of Engineering to attend the COE Computing Orientation training session that is provided by the COE training lab. This training session will give you an overview of the College of Engineering Network (minimal hands-on/seminar-type session). You will learn about the College network, who to call for help, what network drives/services are available, password requirements, how to logon/logoff, connect to network drives, etc.

Network and Computer Support

Certain services such as COE email and user accounts are maintained through our Computer Support Services. If you have any questions setting up your account or need troubleshooting assistance with an existing account, please visit the Computer Support pages.

Other services such as the VoIP phone systems are maintained by our Network Support staff.

Again, on behalf of all of us at NCTS, welcome to the College and please let us know how we can assist you with your training or support needs in the future.
